UNT Gel Nail Polishes Review

Today I will be sharing swatches of 2 of  UNT’s Gel polishes. Here is a little about their brand-

“UNT” is named after an abbreviation taken from “Untitled” because they believe that beauty cannot be represented by one verbal expression alone. It is sold over hundred countries and India is one of them! It is Taiwan’s No.1 online skincare brand. All their products are made with medical expertise. This company started selling in 2004. They sell a wide range of beauty products including a wide range of nail polishes and nail care items.

So they sent me 5 things-

  1. Glash Super Bond
  2. Glash Nail Prep
  3. Glash Base & Top Coat
  4. Glash Untouchable (Gel Polish)
  5. Glash Solo Debut (Gel Polish)

So you need their nail prep, super bond, base & top coat and any colour of your choice to have a salon-like gel mani.

The steps to achieve a perfect mani are-

  1. File and buff your nails.
  2. Apply a thin layer of Glash Nail Prep and let it evaporate.
  3. Apply 1-2 layers of Glash Super Bond and let dry.
  4. Apply a very thin layer of Glash Base & Top Coat and cure in an LED for 30 secs or Uv lamp for 2 minutes.
  5. Take your favourite UNT Glash Nail Lacquer and apply a very thin coat. Cure and repeat till opaque.
  6. Apply Glash Base & Top Coat and cure. Your mani is done!

So all the products are really high quality and are available on UNT’s website.

Nagano Shop Nail Polish Review (Japanese/Thai Brand)

Hi Guys! Today I have a review of Nagano polishes. Nagano is a Japanese/Thai brand which make a huge variety of beauty related products. They sent me 5 polishes and a peel off tape to review. The 5 shades were-

  • Little Mermaid (Light Blue)
  • Carrot Gold (Orange)
  • Golden Sand (Golden)
  • Royal Silk (Dark Blue)
  • Fresh Apple (Red)

The peel off tape is actually the best tape I have used! It dried in about 30 seconds and peeled off in 1 go.

img_7262
Royal Silk

The above image is Royal Silk. A dark, deep blue colour which has a few hints of purple. This shade is naturally matte.

img_7263
Golden Sand

The above shade is Golden Sand. This is a gorgeous golden colour. It has a glossy finish and is a perfect golden colour to match any dress.

img_7264
Carrot Gold

The above polish is called Carrot Gold. It is a bright orange polish which dries matte.

img_7266
Little Mermaid

The above polish is called Little Mermaid. It is a chrome blue polish which dries glossy. It is a really beautiful colour!

img_7265
Fresh Apple

The above polish is called Fresh Apple. This one is a really bright red which dries matte.

The peel off tape is my favourite part of the review. I was scared if they send me just the cheap glue and call it peel off tape…but I was wrong. It is by far one of the best peel off tape I have used. It comes in the same shape of the bottle as the other polishes and has latex so it can peel off in one piece. This dries in 30 seconds or more (depending on how thick you apply it). I recommend to apply a thin layer as it will dry faster and you don’t need a thick layer.

Overall, I really loved the quality of the polishes. They all dry very fast and you can make any matte polish into glossy by applying top coat. All these polishes needed only2 coats to be fully opaque. The brush in all the polishes was really good and I could apply the polish evenly. I would rate this brand a 9/10. If you ever travel to Japan or Thailand, don’t forget to buy this brand. This is a very popular brand there and you get it in many stores.

De Belle Cosmetix Nail Polish Review

Hi guys! Today I have a review of a polish from a very new brand to the Indian market, De Belle Cosmetix. They sell nail polishes in a few different colours. They sent me a minty colour in the name of “Mint Amour” to review.

De Belle nail polishes are available on Amazon, Flipkart, Voonik, Snapdeal and Shopclues.

The application with the brush is very smooth. The polish needed 3 coats to get opaque. The first two coats were a bit streaky but the third coat made it smooth enough. This polish has a gel-like finish so you don’t need to apply any top coat.

The formula of the polish is perfect…not too thin, not too thick. This polish contains natural seaweed extract which helps your nail grow. They claim that it also lets your nail breathe…I am not convinced with that as your nail is not alive and it does not need to breathe 😂

The price of this polish is Rs.295 for 8ml which I feel is quite high. There are a few shades in their collection right now (9 to be exact).

Overall, I liked the quality of this product and am looking forward to try more of their polishes.

I also did some easy nail art with it- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8NpfQjzZyc

Nailsfiesta Products Review

A company called Nailsfiesta sent me a few awesome things to try out and review. She sent it to me a while ago and I’m review it now…sorry! Nailsfiesta sells in India and has an ebay store where you can purchase from. She even takes orders for items from Born Pretty Store. If you want to purchase from her, I will have all the links at the end of this blog post.

So first I will be reviewing and trying out her rose water decals. These water decals are really easy to apply and even a beginner can use them to achieve a professional mani. These are thin and flexible so they will stick to your nail’s curve. There are a lot of different colours of roses to choose from and you get a few pearl images too.

Here is a video on how to use these decals- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUghrEjzC-I

img_7300img_7301

The second product I will be reviewing are some very adorable minion water decals. They are the exact same quality compared to the rose water decals, just the images are different. The images are of different minions and a few wordings. They can be easily applied to your nails however you want.

Here is a video on how to use these decals- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8NpfQjzZyc

img_7135

The third product is a holographic vinyl. It is really thin and you need to use it normally, as you would use any other vinyl. These are holo so I didn’t want to waste them so I used them as decals and they didn’t work so great even if I put gel top coat and cured it in the UV lamp. They peeled off in less than an hour… So you can use them as stencils/vinyls and they will work great but you can’t use them as decals or stickers.

img_7131img_7132img_7133

Next up is the silver and gold studs wheel. It has a lot of types of studs and stones to bedazzle your mani! These stick to your nails easily with just top coat. If you want them to stay for more time, you can stick them with nail glue instead of top coat and you’re good to go! You can even incorporate these in a gel or acrylic mani.

img_7129img_7130

The next item I have reviewed is the stamping plate TO30. It has a total of 18 different designs etched on it. I love all the designs but when I tried stamping with it, half the images didn’t pick up and a few were not crisp. I could just get the celtic knot image to pick up perfect. I think the images didn’t pick up well as the plate wasn’t etched properly.

img_7298img_7299

So those were all the products sent. Overall, I loved all the products except for the stamping plate. I recommend buying from this seller as she ships the items really fast and has good quality products.

Krizia Dawn Forever VS UNT Glash Solo Debut

Today I am going to compare Krizia Enterprises’ “Dawn Forever” and UNT Glash’s “Solo Debut”.

Both the colours are very similar. The only difference is that “Dawn Forever” is a creme nail polish which air-dries and “Solo Debut” is a gel nail polish which needs a UV lamp to cure.

While comparing, the similarities noticed were-

  • Both are shades of peach
  • Both need 2 coats to get opaque
  • Both have a glossy finish
  • Both apply very smoothly
  • Both have circle brushes

The differences noticed were-

The Company

  • UNT retails for US$18.50 (Rs. 1233) whereas, Krizia retails for US$1.50 (Rs. 100) for the cremes to US$5.25 (Rs. 350) for the holo and confetti ones.
  • UNT ships worldwide whereas, Krizia ships only in India.
  • UNT had started business in 2004 while Krizia started in 2015.
  • UNT is currently taking orders for every product that they have whereas, Krizia is taking orders only on supplies that are in stock.

Nail Polishes

  • “Solo Debut” is more of a darker peach shade while, the peach colour seen in “Dawn Forever” is more towards a pink shade.
  • “Solo Debut” consists of 15ml in volume and  “Dawn Forever” has 10ml.
  • “Solo Debut” comes in a circular bottle which is black and has a label of the colour which is inside and “Dawn Forever” comes in a rectangular bottle which is transparent and one can see the colour through it.
  • The main difference is that “Solo Debut” is a gel lacquer whereas, “Dawn Forever” is a creme polish.
  • “Solo Debut” needs to be cured in the UV lamp to be dry whereas, “Dawn Forever” dries on its own.
  • “Solo Debut” stays on your nails for 2 weeks as any other gel nail polish would and “Dawn Forever” stays on your nails for about a week. (Both depend on how well you protect them)
  • If you are in a hurry, you can put “Solo Debut” on, cure it and it won’t smudge whereas, “Dawn Forever”with 2 coats needs at least 30 minutes to dry.

Both have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Rebecca and Madisen Nails Miraculous Cuticle Oil Review

Hey guys! Today I have a review of an amazing cuticle oil from Rebecca and Madisen Nails. I got the scent Jasmine Orange for review.

First of all, this cuticle oil is amazing!!! I have been using it for the past one and an half month and I feel my nails are becoming much more healthier. I used to have yellow nails because of putting nail polish and changing it all the time. Because of applying this all the time, my cuticles look better and my nails have become more white! I did a test, I stopped using this oil for a few days and my pointer fingernail broke…I have started applying this again regularly and my nails are getting longer.

You get 10ml of cuticle oil for 6$ (Rs. 408) which is really awesome. Compared to the other cuticle oils, this is cheap. A very popular cuticle oil which also comes in a 10ml is priced at $15 (Rs. 1022). That is very expensive and not worth it. I recommend buying Rebecca and Madisen Nails cuticle oil as this is as good as other brands (If not better).

You need to open the bottle by pressing the lid and twisting (this took me some time to learn) so that no child can open it and it doesn’t leak in your bag. The applicator is very thin so you can put a drop on each nail and then rub it in. It is a tiny bottle so you can carry it around with you.

The scent is not very strong so I like it. It smells like Jasmine but I can’t smell any bit of orange. The oil absorbs into your skin really fast and leaves a very mild smell of jasmine.

After applying this oil for the past couple of weeks, I feel my nails are much more healthier than before and are growing fast.

Probelle Texture Nail Polish Review and Swatches

Today I have a textured collection from Probelle to share with you’ll. They sent it to me for review purposes. There was a lot of confusion with the shipping…these where shipped when there was a hurricane in Florida so the tracking no. wasn’t available. Probelle kindly sent me another parcel. I got the first parcel which I have swatched in the video and today morning, I got the 2nd parcel … So I ended up getting 2 of each polish.

Back to the review, these polishes retail for $70 on www.pro-belle.com and $80 on www.amazon.com (sent of 10 polishes). These polishes are a little textured and dry fast! There are 10 colours in the collection-

  1. Purple
  2. Dark Blue
  3. Light Blue
  4. Turquoise
  5. Dark Green
  6. Light Green
  7. Yellow
  8. Hot Pink
  9. Light Pink
  10. Black.

All the polishes are opaque in only 2 coats and dry to a little matte finish. If you add a layer of top coat, it will become glossy and smooth. These polishes watermarble great! I will be using these polishes to watermarble and will post my attempt on Instagram. You can create endless designs with these polishes! You get these in a 15ml bottle and the brush is perfect to apply your nail polish without getting nail polish on your cuticles.

I have made a full video of my review on youtube so go and watch it- https://youtu.be/CYfn7wvmT7k

Harunouta Cotton Claw Review

A few days ago, I got a few products from Harunouta to try out and review. These studs were one of them. Harunouta is a Japanese company which sells nail art, make-up and other beauty related items. I have a coupon code… you can use it for a  discount of 300JPY if you buy over 2000JPY worth items.

300JPY off code: DIYT300.

So back to the review, the cotton claw is really useful if you put nail polish on both your hands and don’t want it to get ruined. You can use it in 2 ways-

  1. remove nail polish from your nails
  2. clean your stamping plate after doing a stamping manicure

It is really easy to get hold of the cotton- You need to push the cotton claw from the back and a claw would come out from the front. You need to put it over the cotton and leave the back. Now the cotton would be stuck. You then just need to dip it into nail polish remover and use it however you want. After you are done, it is really easy to remove it, just push the button on the back and the cotton will fall right off. You can even drop the cotton straight into the dustbin so you don’t need to touch the dirty cotton. This is a really useful product! This is item no.32220 on their website. You can grab this at harunouta.com and here is the link to purchase it- http://www.harunouta.com/1—-p-32220.html

Harunouta Holographic Powder Review

A few days ago, I got a few products from Harunouta to try out and review. These studs were one of them. Harunouta is a Japanese company which sells nail art, make-up and other beauty related items. I have a coupon code… you can use it for a  discount of 300JPY if you buy over 2000JPY worth items.

300JPY off code: DIYT300.

So back to the review, the holographic powder is awesome! You get about 0.8mg to 1 gram in the little container which is sealed so you don’t get the powder everywhere. You even get an applicator brush which I don’t find very useful as it takes too much time to rub the powder to your nail. I prefer using my finger and rubbing it in…It takes lesser time and lesser powder. I have not tried this product on gel as it works really well on normal polish! Everyone can use it and you don’t need any gel supplies. What you do need is a water based top coat (optional, but gives the best results) so that the holo shows up nicely. So this is what I did (in order): apply a base coat, 2 coats of black polish, water based top coat/base coat, rub in the powder, water based top coat/base coat and then normal top coat. This worked perfectly for me! I really love this product and do recommend it!!! This is product no. 33256. The name for this on Harunouta.com is “1 box holographic laser powder Nail Deco Nail Art”.

Here is the link to buy the holo powder- http://www.harunouta.com/1-p-33256.html. Don’t forget to use my code if you ever buy these.

I wanted to add, one of the nail artist on instagram tried it on gel polish and it had a linear holo finish. If you don’t like the results with normal polish, you can always try it with gel.

Harunouta Flower Water Decals Review

A few days ago, I got a few products from Harunouta to try out and review. These studs were one of them. Harunouta is a Japanese company which sells nail art, make-up and other beauty related items. I have a coupon code… you can use it for a  discount of 300JPY if you buy over 2000JPY worth items.

300JPY off code: DIYT300.

So back to the review, these water decals are just awesome! They are really thin after soaking in the water so they bend to your nail’s curve. You get a lot of different colours and a few different types of flowers on the sheet. There are even a few leave images included. These water decals show best on white and lighter base colours. You need to cut out the decal in your desired shape and then just remove the plastic on top. Then you need to soak the whole decal in water for about 5-10 seconds and remove it. It should then slide off the backing paper easily. You then have to stick it to your nail. You don’t need any glue or top coat to stick. It will stick automatically to your nail. Then you just need to seal it with top coat. The item name for this on Harunouta is “Water seal colorful flower design nail sticker nail seal Nail Art (1 sheet) DS-310″

If you want to see how to use them, you can visit my Youtube channel Diya NailartLoom and watch this video- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrT5CV9zPLE . This is item no. 30401 on www.harunouta.com

Here is the link to buy the water decals-http://www.harunouta.com/1ds-310-p-30401.html .Don’t forget to use my code if you ever buy these.
